Commercial or business acumen is the often cited by procurement leaders as the key capability they are looking for in modern procurement professionals.

But what exactly do we mean by ‘commercial or business acumen’ and how can we develop it?

This round-table will explore:

  • How we define commercial acumen
  • In what context?
  • Does it differ according to your organisation or circumstances?
  • What are the key attributes that give somebody good commercial acumen?
  • How can we develop those attributes?

This round-table will be led by Nigel Wardropper, founder of PASA.

How do we develop commercial acumen? (SYD)
Venue:
Town Hall House (directly behind Sydney Town Hall). Could attendees please find their way to the Large models of the city of Sydney on level 2 and gather outside the “Green” Conference Room. Concierge is on Level 1 (There is a coffee shop on this level) if you are lost. Easiest access is by train as Town Hall Train Station is 2 minute undercover walk away, there is limited paid parking in the area.
